For 5 year old Noor Al-Ithalwi, it was a rebirth when she gets her lost eyesight back at the UR Eye Institute New York. This 5 year old Iraqi girl conveys thanks to the doctors at the hospital after her successful sight-restorative surgery. She also thanked others for the support she has received from the members of her community in a foreign nation.
Doctors at the UR Eye Institute say that Noor has not received her eyesight back yet and she can not distinguish anything. However they have expressed their hope that after several months of continuous treatment, she will be able to see shapes and colors clearly.
This 5 year old girl received so many gifts from the members of her community. It was a sweet surprise for her to have such a warm behavior in a country away from her own. She was happy to listen to her own language in a stranger country. Both Noor and her mother expressed their happiness and pleasure at their overall experience in America.
